PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection area checking device of a human sensing sensor capable of visually and easily identifying a detection area of the human sensing sensor. SOLUTION: The detection area checking device includes a device body 16 installed in a periphery of the human sensing sensor for detecting an infrared ray, a light source 18 arranged on the body 16 for emitting visible light, a light diffusing means 19 for diffusing the visible light emitted from the light source 18 and radiating on an area approximately corresponding to the detection area of the human sensing sensor.
