PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake caliper having a structure to promote the release of heat from a brake fluid and a brake fluid cooling device positively cooling the brake fluid. SOLUTION: The brake caliper 4 comprises cylinder-piston units 3 operating pistons 2 by the hydraulic pressure of the brake fluid supplied into cylinders 1, heat exchange chambers 5 into which the brake fluid is introduced, and air ducts 6 into which air is introduced to cool the heat exchange chambers 5. Since the brake caliper 4 can directly suppress the rise in the temperature of the brake fluid and rapidly lower the temperature of the brake fluid even if the temperature of the brake fluid is raised, a vapor lock phenomenon can be prevented.
