PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify the location and region of an indicated object without spoiling the opening ratio in a display device having a light detection function.

SOLUTION: This device comprises: a pixel part 72 equipped with a liquid crystal pixel part which is in the light transmission state according to a display signal with a display selection signal, and a capacity element; a light sensor part 150 which comprises a light receiving element 151 generating photocurrent when a second voltage is applied and resets the light receiving signal to a first voltage by a light sensor selection signal to make the light receiving signal readable; a light quantity adjustment part 82 which comprises the liquid crystal pixel part and to be in the light transmission state according to an adjustment signal by the display selection signal and the capacity element and adjusts the light incoming quantity into the light sensor part 150; a display selection signal line 3a which supplies the display selection signal and the reset signal; a capacity electric potential line 300 which supplies a fixed electric potential to the capacity element; a first power supply line 351 which supplies the first voltage; a second power supply line 352 which supplies the second voltage; and a light sensor line selection signal line 353 which supplies the light sensor selection signal.
