REPEATING INSTALLATION, AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeating installation capable of preventing increase in the data transmission time between data transmission and reception terminals and preventing deterioration in communication throughput by speeding up communication. SOLUTION: An earth station repeating installation relaying the transmission and reception of data between mobile and earth terminals has: a transmission and reception data storage means for storing data transmitted and received between a mobile unit terminal and the earth terminal; a radio transmission line transmission means for transmitting the data received from the earth terminal to a mobile unit; a data transmission line transmission means for transmitting the data received from the mobile unit to the earth terminal; and a communication state notification means for transmitting data transmitted and received between the mobile unit terminal and the earth one to other earth station repeating installations. The radio transmission line transmission means is used for transmitting the data received from the earth terminal to the mobile unit. The communication state notification means is used for transmitting the data received from the earth terminal to other repeating installations that are adjacent in a direction, where the mobile unit moves.
