PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clasp which can be unlocked by a single operation by a user but is hardly unlocked by a person other than the user, and is highly fashionable to provide a great merits as an accessory, and to provide a bag using the clasp. SOLUTION: The clasp includes a coupling portion 2 having a ring 21, and a coupling portion 3 having a locking piece 31 that has a shape insertable to the ring 21 and that works as a breaking preventer when inserted in the ring 21. The coupling portions 2 and 3 can be coupled together when the locking piece 31 and the ring 21 are operated to be fit to each other in a predetermined manner, and can be broken apart when the locking piece 31 and the ring 21 are operated to be separated in a predetermined manner. A hitch portion is formed on the periphery of the outline of the locking portion 31. The hitch portion allows coupling or breaking up of the locking piece 31 and the ring 21 when the locking operation or the unlocking operation is carried out along the direction of rotation of the ring 21, while prevents coupling or breaking up of the locking piece 31 and the ring 21 when an operation other than the locking operation and unlocking operation is carried out.
