PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a combine harvester by arranging a simple step at a part of a machine body so as to make an operator get on the upper side of the machine body. SOLUTION: The general-purpose combine harvester has a constitution that a reaping apparatus (11) having a built-in reaped grain culm collecting and feeding apparatus is installed ahead of the machine body, a threshing apparatus (4) and a cabin (5) having a built-in operating seat are installed behind the reaping apparatus (11), a conveying case (9) having a built-in conveying apparatus is arranged between the reaping apparatus (11) and the threshing apparatus (4) and a getting on and off step (10) on the reaping apparatus (11) is installed at the outside part of the conveying case (9) at the rear face of the reaping apparatus (11). The step (10) becomes the support leg of the reaping apparatus (11) in a state in which the reaping apparatus (11) is separated from the machine body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
