A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a media content processor having a controller to present portions of media content over a plurality of Graphical User Interface (GUI) windows some of which are anchored to each other, adjust a select one of the plurality GUI windows responsive to receiving a dimensional adjustment request, and counter adjust a dimension of at least one of the other anchored GUI windows according to the adjusted dimension of the select GUI window.
