It is intended to provide a novel microorganism which promotes gastric juice secretion and has a platelet increasing action and a pharmaceutical comprising a substance secreted by the same. This novel microorganism, whose international deposition number is NITE BP-295, belongs to the species Bachillus pumilus, and is characterized by being capable of taking either coccal morphology or rod-shaped morphology and makes a figure-of-eight movement. The novel microorganism has a gene of SEQ ID NO: 1 and further it is intended to provide the microorganism and a composition for promoting gastric juice secretion comprising the substance secreted by the microorganism. |
