METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SETTING UP HEADER COMPRESSION COMMUNICATION, HEADER COMPRESSION POLICY FUNCTION ENTITY

A method and a system for setting up header compression communication, and a header compression policy function entity are disclosed. The said method includes: a header compression performing function entity receiving a header compression instruction from the header compression policy function entity; the said header compression performing function entity negotiating the header compression channel parameters with the other header compression performing function entity which is corresponding with the former, and a header compression channel being set up. A communication system and a header compression policy function entity are disclosed. The prior art problem that the head compression communication cannot be realized is resolved in the example of the application.
