<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material heat fusion tool for a pipe member, wherein the form of the heating face in each heating member is improved, so that the heat fusion to the edge faces of both coating materials is sufficiently performed to increase the heat fusion strength between both the edge faces, and the handleability thereof is improved. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a heat insulating material-fitted fluid pipe obtained by coating each outer surface 29a of an inner pipe 29 with a heat insulating material 28, when both the parted heat insulating materials 28 are joined each other, by inserting the inner pipe 29 into an insertion hole between a fixed heating element 6 and a movable heating element 9 in a closed state of the upper and lower both heating members opening/closing each other, the heating faces 22 of both the side walls 21 are applied to the edge faces 28a of both the heat insulating members 28, thus the edge faces 28a can be fused.
