<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an intraocular lens suited for an eye to be examined. <P>SOLUTION: This intraocular lens selection apparatus for selecting an intraocular lens to be inserted into the eye to be examined, includes: measurement means for measuring a wavefront aberration of the eye to be examined; storage means for storing corneal wavefront aberration of the cornea of the eye to be examined acquired by the measurement means, and wavefront aberration of various types of intraocular lens models; setting means for setting a postoperative residual wavefront aberration of a desired eye to be examined as a target value; computing means for computing postoperative residual wavefront aberration of the eye to be examined for every intraocular lens model as a prediction value and specifying a model close to a target value by comparing the target value with the prediction value for every intraocular lens model; and display control means for displaying information of the intraocular lens model specified by the computing means on a monitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
