<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of the optical characteristics by displacement at assembling, as well as, to aim at high luminance, in a planar light-emitting device and a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The planar light-emitting device is provided with a light-emitting element package 6 equipped with a light-emitting element 3, a substantially rectangle-shaped package substrate 4 with the light-emitting element 3 mounted on a rectangle mounting surface, and a substantially rectangular-shaped transparent resin part 5 formed on the mounting face with the light-emitting element 3 sealed, a light guide plate 7, with a side end face fitted in a state of facing the front face of the transparent resin part 5 opposed to the mounting face, and a light-source side reflecting sheet 10, as well as, a light guide plate side reflecting sheet 11 fitted from a side end part of the top and bottom faces of the light guide plate 7 to the top and bottom faces of the transparent resin part 5 with each inner side as a reflective face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
