<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar type portable power generation unit which is always very easy to carry. <P>SOLUTION: A case body 11 and a lid portion 12 of a case 10 house solar panels 21 and 22 respectively. In the case body 11, a battery 23 charged with electric power generated by the solar panels 21 and 22, a controller 24 controlling the charging of the battery 23, and an inverter 25 converting the electric power charged in the battery 23 into AC current and supplying it to the outside are fixed. The case body 11 is provided with an outlet 31 for power supply electrically connected to the inverter 25 and a handle 14 for carry.
