PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with the quality of display image improved. SOLUTION: The display device includes a first display board 100 having a large number of pixel electrodes 180, a large number of data lines 161 arranged parallel with each other, crossing the center of the pixel electrodes 180, a large number of gate lines 120 intersecting the data lines 161, and a large number of driving thin-film transistors 101 connected to the gate lines 120, the data lines 161 and the pixel electrodes 180; a second display board 200, arranged facing the first display board 100 and including a common electrode 280; and a liquid crystal layer 300, disposed in between the first display board 100 and the second display board 200. One of the data lines 161 supplies the same data voltage to the pixel electrodes 180 that is crossed by the one of the data lines 161 and to the pixel electrodes 180 crossed by the other data line 161 which is adjacent to the data line 161 alternately identical along the longitudinal direction of the data lines 161.
