PIGMENT DISPERSION, COLORANT COMPOSITION, AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a pigment dispersion excellent in both of dispersion stability of a pulverized pigment and flowability; a colorant composition; and a color filter satisfying both of high color purity and high contrast ratio. SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion comprises: an azo-metal complex-based pigment and/or an azomethine-metal complex-based pigment; a pigment derivative obtained by introducing sulfonic acid group into the azo-metal complex-based pigment and/or the azomethine-metal complex-based pigment; and a solvent. The pigment dispersion is characterized in that 5-100 wt.% of the pigment derivative is an azo-metal complex-based pigment derivative and/or an azomethine-metal complex-based pigment derivative, having two sulfonic acid groups in one molecule.
