PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator that has a simple structure reducing the component count and ensures easy adjustment to a desirable opening by a manual operation, while allowing a seating force to be continuously applied at a fully closed position. SOLUTION: The electric actuator includes a torque limiting means that restrains transmission of a torque exceeding a given load to an output screw axis 4 via a drive transmission mechanism to transmit a torque of an electric motor 3 to the output screw axis 4, or a speed reduction gear mechanism to transmit a torque of an indicator lever 27 to the output screw axis 4.
