PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is needed to enlarge members of a heat sink substrate, a heat conduction elastic sheet, a heat radiation sheet and the like for efficiently radiating heat generated by LEDs which constitute a backlight light source of a liquid crystal display device and such enlargement disturbs the liquid crystal display device featured by a thin shape and a light weight. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device including a light source consisting of a plurality of light emitting devices 5, the light emitting devices are divided into a plurality of groups, and each group's light emitting device 5 is mounted on a different structural member which constitutes the liquid crystal display device.
