PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam leakage inspecting instrument capable of easily and appropriately detecting a steam leakage. SOLUTION: The steam leakage inspecting instrument 1 is formed by disposing an end plate 3 at the tip part of a deformable and extensible grip handle 2 of rod shape. An extensible deformation part 22 of the grip handle 2 is deformed and extended according to the shape, disposed position, inspected position, etc. of an inspected body to bring the end plate 3 close to the inspected body. When there is a steam leakage from the inspected body, the leaked steam sticks to the surface of the end plate 3, and the steam leakage can be detected by visually confirming the sticking of the steam.
