PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device capable of easily treating the jamming with a simple procedure, and an image forming device having the paper sheet conveying device. SOLUTION: The paper sheet conveying device comprises an opening/closing type paper guide 232, conveying rollers 211, 212, 221, 222, a first detection sensor 241, a second detection sensor 242, a CPU 110 and a torque limiter 280. In this constitution, the opening/closing type paper guide 232 constitutes a part of the paper guide in a conveying passage when the conveying rollers 221, 222 are rotated forward. The opening/closing type paper guide 232 is located at the position of opening/closing the conveying passage when the conveying rollers 221, 222 are rotated backwardly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
