PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed cartridge capable of arranging paper sheets at a predetermined position in the conveying direction without any complicated storing work by a user even when a rear end of the paper sheet in the conveying direction is raised. SOLUTION: The paper feed cartridge 1 comprises a paper sheet storage member 2 for storing paper sheets 20, and a body part 5b of an uplift preventive member 5 capable of regulating any raise of a rear end of the paper sheet in the conveying direction. When the paper sheets 20 are stored in the paper sheet storage member 2, the body part 5b of the uplift preventive member 5 is arranged at the position higher than the height h1 of a rear wall part 2m of the paper sheet storage member 2.
