PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape paper having excellently balanced adhesion and separation properties to and from a top cover tape, not causing fluff and paper dust in separating the tape, excellently adhered to a bottom cover tape and allowing the top cover tape to be stably separated by solving the problems of bending of the carrier tape breakage and wrinkles. SOLUTION: A carrier tape paper with a thickness of 0.4-1.2 mm has a base paper surface is coated with a surface treatment agent. The paper is formed with a storage part for a chip-type electronic component and is used for a type of punch carrier tape whose storage part is closed by a cover tape adhered to the front face and back face of the same. The base paper comprises a multi-layered pressed paper and the surface treatment agent contains a water soluble polymer and styrene-acrylic resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
