The device has a medical imaging device (1) for determining and/or controlling of a target volume and temperature in the target volume. A radiation device (3) radiates the target volume with therapy radiations (7). A high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU)-device (5) radiates the target volumes with ultrasound for increasing the temperature in the target volume. A control unit (9) indirectly or directly stays in connection with the imaging device, the radiation device and the HIFU-device. The control unit sends control signals to the imaging device, the radiation device and the HIFU-device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a radiotherapy device.
