LOCK RING MOUNTING/DEMOUNTING JIG

Intended is to provide a jig, which does not require the worker to hold a lock ring against the radially shrinking elastic force and to support the weight of the lock ring. The lock ring mounting/demounting jig is constituted of a set of two jigs (41 and 42), which are jointed by a single screw bolt (8) and can be individually mounted on the two end portions (4a and 4b) of a lock ring (4). The paired jigs (41 and 42) are constituted to include body portions (or blocks (41B and 42B)) and clamp portions (41C and 42C) such that the clearance between the set jigs (41, 42, 410, 420, 411 and 421) can expand and contract.
