METHOD FOR MANAGING POWER IN A WIRELESS NETWORK

A power control method in mobile network for controlling power of the device communicating through the mobile network is provided to confirm whether to receive request information about a mode conversion during a specific channel time by switching a sleep mode to an awaken mode. A conditioner maintains the wakefulness for the beacon section. The beacon(40) in which the power control mode change(PMMC) information is included is broadcasted. The modem of the device receives power management mode change information and maintains the waken state in a broadcast section of the beacon. The device performs a mode conversion from a power saving mode into a normal mode. It is confirmed whether the power control mode change information is transmitted or not. The power control mode change information is not lost by confirming the beacon broadcasted by a regulator.
