<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet agent for retaining water resistance which does not deteriorate the print density of cyan and an inkjet recording material using this agent. <P>SOLUTION: A polyamide amine obtained through the condensation reaction process, of a polyalkylene polyamine and a dicarboxylic acid or its alkyl ester, which is made up of (I) the process to form an amide bond, and (II) further, the process to heat and dehydrate the condensate.
