<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sarcosine oxidase decreased in activity to proline, obtained by modification of a protein having sarcosine oxidase activity by a protein engineering method, and to provide a method for producing the same and uses thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The modified sarcosine oxidase is characterized in that the 89th lysine of the sequence number 1 of the sequence list is substituted with arginine, the 94th valine with glycine, and the 250th glutamic acid with glutamine, each individually. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
