<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply cartridge capable of scraping and removing developer entering between a housing member and a cylindrical member, and to provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developer supply cartridge includes: a supply developer storage part for storing developer; a developer supply port 16a for supplying the developer in the supply developer storage part to a developing means via the receiving port of a developing means; and a supply port shutter unit 35 for opening/closing the developer supply port. The support shutter unit has: a housing member 44 that covers the developer supply port; a cylindrical member 37 rotatably disposed in the housing member, provided with a through-hole 37b corresponding to the developer supply port, and the cylindrical member occupying a developer supply admitting position in which the developer supply port and the through-hole communicate by rotation and a developer supply stop position in which the developer supply port is closed; and a scraping member 41 disposed in contact with the circumferential face of the cylindrical member and scraping developer adhering to the circumference of the rotating cylindrical member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
