<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triple tube high pressure discharge lamp structured so as to prevent an outer tube from undesirably dropping while it is lighted. <P>SOLUTION: This high-pressure discharge lamp is equipped with a base B having an inner tube fixing part 32, an outer tube fixing part 33, and a power receiving part 31, an inner tube IT fixed to the base by the inner tube fixing part having a light emitting tube LT built-in, an outer tube OT surrounding the inner tube with a gap formed around it and fixed to the base with its base end part bonded to the outer tube fixing part of the base, and an elastic holding member EH intervening in the gap between the outer surface of the inner tube and making pressure contact with the inner tube and the outer tube respectively to hold the outer tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
