<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector capable of covering a needle by a simpler operation. <P>SOLUTION: The protector 10 has the support member 18 mounted on the needle main body 15, a cover member 36 held so as to be made tiltable with respect to the support member 18 and the housing member 38 provided on the cover member 36.
