<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an igniter which has an improved heat radiation property thereby preventing connection defects and disconnections and also prevents an insulating resin from peeling off, and consequently can exhibit improved reliability and also can meet the miniaturization of an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The igniter 1 comprises a copper plate 21, a semiconductor device 3 composed of a power transistor and a hybrid IC 32 and disposed on the copper plate 21, a bonding pad 5 disposed in the hybrid IC 32 of the semiconductor device 3, a member 9 to be held provided with an annular groove 9a and disposed on the surface of the hybrid IC 32 where the bonding pad 5 is disposed, an aluminum wire 41 whose one end is connected to the bonding pad 5, and another external terminal connected to the other end of the aluminum wire 41, and is configured by covering and molding the copper plate 21 other than the surface on the opposite side of the surface where the semiconductor device 3 is disposed with an epoxy resin 81. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
