PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a current position mark easily onto an actually traveling road, and to re-search for a route to a destination, or to re-search for a route to a next spot (branch node) in the traveling direction, when the position is not on a guide route. SOLUTION: This navigation device 1 is equipped with a position mark correction means for correcting a current position by dragging the current position mark to move it onto a desired road, a re-searching determination means for determining whether a guide route is to be re-searched for based on the corrected current position, and a re-searching processing means for re-searching the guide route. When the current position mark displayed on a display means is moved by the position mark correction means and the current position is corrected onto another road, the re-searching determination means determines whether the guide route is required to be re-searched for based on the corrected current position and the guide route, and when determined that the guide route is required to be re-searched for, the re-searching processing means allows a route searching means to re-search for the guide route based on the corrected current position.
