PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion-form skincare preparation for external use stably containing triterpenes even under extreme temperature conditions. SOLUTION: The water-in-oil emulsion-form skincare preparation for external use contains triterpene(s) and/or related substance(s) thereof, wherein the triterpenes and related substances thereof include preferably betulin, betulinic acid, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, ursolic acid esters and salts thereof. It is preferable that the skincare preparation for external use contains organomodified clay minerals, and optionally, ceramide and/or an acylated acidic amino acid diester.
