PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving steering stability, especially the response performance of a steering wheel. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a group of circumferential land parts formed from a plurality of circumferential land parts constituted of ribs or block lines by placing a plurality of vertical main grooves 7.00 mm or more deep on the tread surface. When the tread grounding surface is virtually divided into five width areas of the same width, or a center area on the tire equator, shoulder areas on the tread grounding end sides and the middle areas between them, the group of circumferential land parts includes the circumferential land parts at the center in which each gravity center of an area is placed in the center area and the circumferential land parts on the shoulders in which each gravity center of an area is placed in the shoulder area. Further, the circumferential stiffness per circumferential unit length of each circumferential land part is denoted by KX, the circumferential stiffness KXc of the circumferential land part at the center is smaller than the circumferential stiffness KXs of the circumferential land parts on the shoulders.
