PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shortage of oiling quantity in a cylinder block of a multiple cylinder engine. SOLUTION: The multiple cylinder engine is characterized by providing: a main lubricating oil channel 2 provided in a substantially lateral direction in a front surface side wall part 1a of a cylinder block 1 in order to supply lubricating oil to the following parts; a crankshaft oiling path 4 communicating to the crankshaft bearing part 3; and a camshaft oiling path 6 communicating to the camshaft bearing part 5. The multiple cylinder engine is characterized by arranging an idling gear bearing part 7 at a middle of the main lubricating oil channel 2 to supply lubricating oil to the idling gear bearing part 7.
