PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device excellent in assembling workability of a circuit board. SOLUTION: The light source device comprises: a laser holder functioning as a chassis; at least one light source fixed to the laser holder; and a circuit board that controls light emission of the light source, wherein a circuit board insertion section is formed in the laser holder, and the circuit board has a slit portion with one side opened to at least one end face of the circuit board, the circuit board is inserted to the circuit board insertion section, and the light source and the circuit board are electrically connected near the slit portion.
