摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding mechanism which can reduce the friction of a sliding surface and can improve the wear resistance of the sliding surface. SOLUTION: The sliding mechanism comprises a first sliding component having a first sliding surface, a second sliding component having a second sliding surface to slide on the first sliding surface, a hard carbon film which is formed on the first sliding surface and is added by Mo, and a sulfur added layer formed on the second sliding surface. The hard carbon film is an amorphous carbon film, such as diamond-like carbon, amorphous carbon, or amorphous carbon hydride. The sliding mechanism may be used without lubricant.
