There is provided a fuel cell stack (10) including: a stacked body (S) formed by stacking a plurality of unit cells (1); a casing (3) that houses the stacked body with a predetermined fastening load imparted to the stacked body in a stacking direction of the stacked body; and an interposed member (4) that is interposed between an inner wall surface of the casing (3a) and an end unit cell (2a) positioned outermost in the stacked body in the stacking direction and that is housed together with the stacked body in the casing. The interposed member includes a firm contact portion (4a, 13a, 13b, 4b, 4c) that, prior to disassembly of the casing (3), firmly contacts a member (7,9) provided for, after a portion of the casing is disassembled, retaining at least a part of the fastening load occurring prior to the disassembly of the casing. |
