ORGANIC EL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of preventing moisture in a flattening film or moisture infiltrating from the outside to the flattening film from infiltrating to a light emitting part through a part where an insulating film is broken and preventing peripheral degradation.

SOLUTION: The organic EL display device includes a substrate, the insulating film formed on the substrate and provided with a plurality of apertures at equal intervals and a plurality of organic EL elements formed at the apertures on the substrates to respectively configure the light emitting part. An organic EL layer is formed more on the inner side than the aperture of the outermost periphery, and the same layer as a first electrode and a second electrode are in contact at the aperture of the outer periphery of the organic EL layer.
