<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display medium incorporated, from the beginning, with a sheet having a function such as allows suitable use for additional information provision to the image display medium such that data input is performed by direct handwriting into a display device without later sticking the sheet having such the function by a user. <P>SOLUTION: This surface film for a polarizing plate is a film printed with a transparent pattern having regularity of invisible light ray reflectiveness on the surface of a base plate, and formed with an antiglare layer or an antireflection layer thereon or on the rear face.
