<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of pre-flight processing for verifying printing data before being outputted. <P>SOLUTION: Whether a pre-flight result corresponding to inputted printing data is recorded or not is judged (step S507). When the record of the pre-flight result for the printing data is judged, the recorded pre-flight result is regarded as the pre-flight result of the printing data (step S510). When no record of the pre-flight result for the printing data is judged, pre-flight processing for the printing data is executed (step S508).
