摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber load sensor having sensor output close to ideal characteristics and hardly causing rupture of a linear body. SOLUTION: The optical fiber load sensor 10 has an optical fiber 20 and a plurality of linear bodies having elasticity and at least three kinds of hardness and twisted around the outer periphery of the optical fiber 20 along the length direction of the optical fiber 20 so that the hardness at the twisting unit pitch varies stepwise to form the unit cycle of hardness variation.
