PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that has a common structure for use as a receipt printer and a ticket printer, allows rational assembly and a component delivery plan, and excels in productivity. SOLUTION: As a cutting structure for cutting a roll of paper 510 subjected to printing, a structure for the receipt printer or a structure for the ticket printer can be selected. The cutting structure for the receipt printer includes: a fixed blade 81 mounted on an upper frame 20; and a movable cutter unit 82 mounted on a lower frame 10 opposite to the fixed blade with the roll of paper 510 between them and driven by a driving source, thereby cutting the roll of paper 510.
