PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal glass alloy machining method for machining it without producing crystals at a machining position of the metal glass alloy and its vicinity, while extending the life of a tool by retarding the wearing progress of the tool. SOLUTION: The method comprises using a temperature measuring device for measuring a temperature at the machining position of the metal glass alloy 12, and machining the metal glass alloy 12 at a temperature of crystallizing point or lower while supplying cooling medium L to the machining position A where the metal glass alloy 12 and the tool 22 contact each other to achieve an optimum temperature.
