[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The automatic warehouse system is placed in the clean room (11) and has at least one or more shelves (13) arranged in a vertically spaced relationship and receiving a cassette (14), transfer means (16) placed parallel to the shelves (13) and transferring the cassette (14) between a loading/unloading port (12) and the shelves (13), and a base member (24) provided on the transfer means (16) and extendible toward the shelves (13). The base member (24) has a base body (71) of a fixed system, a pulling member (72) provided on the base body (71) and extendible toward the shelves (13), and a claw member (73) provided on the pulling member (72) and engaged with an engagement section previously formed on a transfer means-side bottom surface of the cassette (14).
