#CMT# #/CMT# The device has an auxiliary pump (7) present at an end of a catheter tube (5) immediately before a needle (6), where the auxiliary pump is controlled by an electronics (4) of a dosing pump (1). The auxiliary pump is in a position of high pressure to inject a liquid active ingredient e.g. insulin, by the needle in a hypodermic manner when pressure of the dosing pump is not sufficient. An error message e.g. catheter clog, is provided to warn when supply of medicament is stopped.
