The dividing layer is perpendicularly arranged to a hinge joint axle (8), and comprises a predetermined breakage point (9) at a section of the hinge joint axle. The dividing layer is formed of plastic, and is fastened to the carrier. A surface of the dividing layer is smooth, so that the cloth is slid during expansion of an airbag cover (2).
