<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having a reduced internal resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode is provided with a current collector composed of aluminum foil or aluminum alloy foil and an active substance containing layer which is formed on the current collector surface and contains a bonding agent composed of an active substance, a conductive agent and an organic polymer. The conductive agent contains carbon particles of which the aspect ratio exceeds 1 and a part of which has a long axis 1.05-1.50 times longer than a thickness of the active substance containing layer, and moreover, one end in a longitudinal direction of the carbon particles is embedded into the current collector in a depth of 20-50% of the thickness of the current collector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
