<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed food produced from a raw material which contains frozen potatoes and/or frozen beans, and hardly bursting potatoes and beans when being heated with a microwave oven. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the processed food for heating microwave oven comprises soaking frozen potatoes of ≤50 mm square and/or frozen beans in a ≤80°C calcium aqueous solution of a calcium concentration of 19-162 mM, and heat treating at above 80°C, the frozen potatoes and/or frozen beans, or a raw material which contains the frozen potatoes and/or frozen beans. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
