APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting apparatus capable of accurately mounting a circuit board on one-side part of a liquid crystal display panel.

SOLUTION: The mounting apparatus is provided with: a first image pickup camera 33 for imaging a circuit board 102 to recognize a position; a carrier table 21 for carrying the circuit board 102 to a mounting position of the liquid crystal display panel 100 on the basis of the position recognition of the first image pickup camera 33, a second image pickup camera 36 for imaging the liquid crystal panel to recognize the position; a table unit 2 for carrying the liquid crystal panel to the mounting position after setting a turning angle of the liquid crystal display panel which is determined on the basis of the position recognition of the second image pickup camera 36 to be the same as a turning angle of the circuit board 102 which is determined on the basis of the position recognition of the first image pickup camera 33 within a visible range of the second image pickup camera 36; and a pressurizing tool 15 for mounting the circuit board on the liquid crystal panel which is positioned on the mounting position by the carrying table 21 and the table unit 2.
