<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentric two-rotor six-piston type (known as cat-and-mouse type) internal combustion engine featuring a variable compression ratio, a simple and compact mechanism easy to manufacture and requiring no lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: The correlation type cranks are provided with a ball-strike part and a ball-strike-receive part with a damping material for mutually striking a ball wherein the correlation type cranks form a predetermined angle as viewed from a center of a rotor shaft. The concentric two-rotor six-piston type (known as the cat-and-mouse type) internal combustion engine is structured to have functions to prevent excessive compression by securing a minimum piston clearance, in other words, a combustion chamber volume, in a compression chamber by bending of connection wire and to transfer kinetic energy of a crank, a rotor shaft, a rotor and a piston of a side to collide in "collision" to the other crank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
